Sometimes you wake up in the morning and don’t feel like eating anything. It’s hot out. Who would want a big breakfast? Here’s some perfect recipes that will get you up on your feet fast and refreshed…

Tip: I usually freeze my berries so you don’t need to use ice in the smoothie

Banana Berry Blast

  • 1 1/4 cups orange juice
  • 1 ripe medium banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries, blackberries or raspberries
  • 1 cup of yogurt
Kiss my Honey
  • 1 1/4 cups fresh berries
  • 3/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • splash of milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Now you can always make up your own it’s really easy. Just take any of your favorite fruit (banana, mango, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple) put them in the blender with your favorite yogurt (mine is the thick vanilla yogurt, i think it tastes best) and a drop of milk and blend. You’ll have a healthy and portable treat in a flash!
