Stone Street Historic District

I almost walked right by it and thankfully I didn’t because I was in love with this hidden gem. Stone Street is tucked away in the financial district of Manhattan and if you’re looking for a great place to eat, it has many. The street is one long cobblestone block filled with tables and  covered on each side with restaurants. You’ll feel as if you’re in Europe as you walk along jumping from restaurant to restaurant deciding on which menu draws you in the most. The street is covered with diners enjoying food and drink right in the middle of the street. The street is shared by a variety of cuisines from seafood to mexican and more. You can either be seated inside or outside among the crowd at a large picnic table, perfect for enjoying a beautiful day. The area is great for people watching and getting away from the regular NYC tourist areas, you may even forget you’re in New York! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and can’t wait to go back again to this hidden landmark in Manhattan.
