Easy Mexican Chili

Whenever I want a quick chili fix this recipe is great. It only takes a little over half an hour to make and is so easy. It comes out flavorful and tastes even better if you leave it overnight.

You will need:

1 lb hamburger

1 Envelope of McCormick chili seasoning mix

1 can Diced zesty chili style tomatoes or 16 oz of fresh salsa (if you want it milder you can add the tomatoes, if you like it spicier use fresh salsa)

1 15 oz can red kidney beans

cheddar cheese

sour cream

chopped onions

Brown the burger in a pan for 10 minutes on medium heat and drain it. Make sure burger is fully cooked.easy mexican chili -a caffeinated brunette blog

Add the can of drained kidney beans, salsa or tomatoes, and packet of seasoning to the burger meat. Cook on medium low for about 15 to 20 minutes. easy mexican chili -a caffeinated brunette blogYou can serve or store the chili for the next day and it will be even more flavorful. Top the chili with fresh chopped onion, cheddar cheese (or jack), sour cream or whatever you like!
