The Last Few Steps to Graduation

Hey my Beautiful and Handsome readers,

As some of you know it’s about that time for me to graduate from college and I’ve been running around as madly as the mad hatter lately.

It’s also been lovely out and I can’t tell you how absolutely happy the sunshine makes me. I pop out of my winter shell and run around aimlessly asking everyone to go to a cafe or beach with me to soak in some rays.

I’ve mostly been working on the last bits of work before I can kiss homework a sweet goodbye for once after 22 years. (and then start sending out a billion more resumes)

I cannot tell you what an amazing experience college has been for me and how excited I am to start on the next path and find a career. So here’s what I’ve been up to:

We’ve been celebrating a lot.

I’ve been lucky enough to have some of the greatest friends a girl could ask for.

We’ve had a lot of fun this past semester especially. 481183_10152657456305434_1218474300_n

And don’t worry, I’ve been keeping my belly happy and posts will be coming soon.

Black Jack Burger from Max Burger topped with jalapeño jack cheese, roasted green chiles, guacamole, honey-chipotle onions on an artisan role with a side of some crispy eggplant fries. IMG_20130424_134805

Oh and eating a lot of Insomnia Peanut Butter Cookies. Whoever introduced me to these are pure evil. 431779_10201195120100318_1139858496_n

and taking in some rays while searching for some luck…

Every summer I go around and search for my first four-leaf clover to start it off.

I found a FIVE-leaf clover so I hope it’s a sign I’m going to be extra lucky (keep your fingers crossed!)

Oh and we’ve been nerding out a bit…IMG_20130428_203822

and eating some more.

Ahi tuna tacos at The Spotted Horse. These babies are Black & White Sesame Crusted Sushi Grade Tuna, Warm Tortilla, Grilled Pineapple, Jicama, Mint Salsa, Side Of Wasabi-Lemon Yogurt Sauce. Delish. IMG954345

Next stop: Find a job. (while eating lots of delicious food and traveling a bit).

Wherever you may be around the world reading this, I hope you are enjoying a beautiful sunshiny day.

  1. Congratulations, you are about to graduate from college. It is quite the accomplishment. The formal homework you’re accustomed to will end; hopefully, learning will never end.

  2. Hey, i’m going to the US for the 1st time as a freshman from Vietnam, so I’m terribly excited to experience all the gourmet food America has to offer! As I’m starting college, reading about your experiences and how you had a good time there is really inspiring to me.

Wish you all the best for future endeavours after college. May your learning and exploration never end 😀
